Charge Dismissed
The client was facing domestic violence criminal charges. Mr. Clarke, along with the client, opted for a non-jury trial in General Sessions Court where the judge dismissed the charge.
The client in this case was charged with driving on revoked 2nd offense and facing 11 months 29 days in jail. A Motion to Suppress was filed and granted by the trial court and the charge was dismissed. The State of Tennessee appealed the decision of the trial court and the case is awaiting decision by the Criminal Court of Appeals.
DUI Dismissed
The client was charged with DUI (driving under the influence). After successful negotiations with the Assistant District Attorney General, the DUI charge was dismissed.
DUI Dismissed
A client was charged with DUI and facing 11 months 29 days in jail, loss of license, fines and costs. After filing a Motion to Suppress, the Assistant District Attorney General agreed to dismiss the DUI charge in exchange for a guilty plea to reckless driving. This resulted in the client receiving no jail time and no loss of his license.
One Year Probation
The client in this case was charged with multiple violations of the Horse Protection Act and facing several years in federal prison. After a sentencing hearing, the client received one year of probation and walked out of court a free man.

Charges Reduced
The client in this case was charged with Sale of a Schedule I Controlled Substance and facing 8-12 years in prison. After a preliminary hearing and successful negotiations with the Assistant District Attorney General, the client pled guilty to a Class A misdemeanor and was released on time served.
Received Full Custody
The client in this case was awarded the children 285 days a year, and the Mother received visitation 80 days a year.
Visitation Suspended
The client in this case was awarded full and complete custody of the child. Any and all visitation by the Father was suspended until multiple requirements are completed.
Case Settled for $380,000

Not Guilty
The client in this case originally hired a different attorney, and the case was tried in general sessions court. The client was found guilty and sentences to 3 months in jail with the remainder of the 11 month 29 day sentenced to be served on probation. The client appealed the general sessions county ruling and hired Mr. Clarke to try the case in front of a jury in circuit court. The jury deliberated for approximately 30 minutes and returned a not guilty verdict.
